About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our team at Sandringham Ward, an acute assessment ward for older people with mental health challenges. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high standard of care to patients, using good communication skills to engage with them and support with personal care when required.
  • Conduct physiological observations and report any concerns to the relevant team members.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, working collaboratively with the team to ensure patient-centered care.
  • Attend all mandatory training and keep up-to-date with training records.
Requirements
  • Care certificate or must be achieved within the first 12 weeks of employment.
  • NVQ L2/3 in H&SC or Diploma L2/3 in H&SC or apprenticeship L2/3 in H&SC.
  • Previous experience within the healthcare sector.
  • Understanding of issues surrounding confidentiality.
