About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our Stroke Pathway team at Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Assist with the delivery of care, following the instructions of our Registered Nurses and adhering to trust policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control procedures and ensuring the proper disposal of waste and soiled linen.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues, using clear and respectful language to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in training and supervision sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills, adhering to trust policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education to GCSE level Grade C in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
  • Care Certificate and/or equivalent healthcare experience.
  • Ability to work 12.5 hour shift patterns and make own travelling arrangements.
  • Previous experience in a nursing or care assistant role, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
