Senior Manager for Child Permanence Services

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join our Children's Services team as a Fostering and Adoption Team Lead. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of skill and expertise in child protection and team management.
As part of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the Fostering and Adoption Team, including foster carers, kinship carers, and adoption workers. You will work closely with the Head of Service and other senior managers to develop and implement strategic plans for the service, and ensure that all staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to deliver excellent services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Fostering and Adoption Team, including foster carers, kinship carers, and adoption workers
- Develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for children and families
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
- Work closely with other teams to achieve shared goals and objectives
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A degree in social work or a related field
- Experience of managing teams and developing strategies to improve outcomes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures
We offer a competitive salary of ££62,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including:
