Job Overview: We are seeking a Support Worker for Child with Additional Needs to join our team at UKCIL Ltd. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to a young boy with complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a child and their family.

About the Position: This is a part-time position, requiring 3 hours of term-time work per week. Flexibility during holidays is also required. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with additional needs and be able to work effectively with a second support worker. You will need to be calm, confident, and able to manage challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 2:1 care for the child, enabling him to engage in activities such as soft play.
  • Manage the child's personal needs, including toileting and medication administration.
  • Work closely with the child's parents and other professionals to ensure seamless care.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with additional needs.
  • Ability to work with non-verbal individuals or those with challenging behaviour.
  • Calm, confident, and controlled personality.
