About the Role

UKCIL Ltd is recruiting a skilled support worker to join our team and provide care for a young child with additional needs. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with challenging behavior, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and possess excellent communication skills.

The role involves providing 2:1 support to enable the child to engage in activities outside of the family home. This may include soft play, outings, and other age-appropriate activities. The successful candidate will also be required to provide personal care, including toileting, and support the child's use of a gastronomy feeding tube.

A car driver is not essential, but business use insurance is recommended if applicable. Mileage will be paid in accordance with employer guidelines. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to meet the requirements of the hours, which include weekend work during term-time and flexibility during holidays.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £13.09 per hour. In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate will receive a full enhanced Disclosure and Barring Certificate, which will be fully met by the employer. All necessary training, including medication administration and moving & handling, will also be provided.
