Special Needs Assistant Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Special Needs Assistant to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a valued member of our educational support team, you will provide essential support to students with special educational needs, enabling them to access education and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored support to students with physical disabilities
  • Support students with personal care needs, such as toileting and feeding
  • Accompany students on curriculum-related visits, including work experience and residential trips
  • Act as an advocate for students and encourage self-advocacy

Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
