Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a local SEND school in Ashington. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The successful candidate will have experience working with pupils with complex needs, including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). They will be responsible for assisting with small group and 1:1 interventions, supporting pupils with personal care, and contributing to behaviour management.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 8:30-3:30pm, with a competitive salary of £350-450 per week based on experience and qualifications.
