We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join Pin Point Health & Social Care as Residential Childcare Workers at their Residential Children's Home in Newcastle.

About the Role

This is a permanent opportunity with flexible contract options, including full-time (40 hours), part-time (26 hours).

Responsibilities
  • To support up to five children and young people aged between 8 and 17 years old who may have mild to moderate learning disabilities or exhibit emotional or behavioral difficulties.
  • To provide a safe, warm, and comfortable environment for residents.
  • To work on a shift rota system, which includes daytime, evening, and night shifts.
What You Can Expect
  • A competitive salary of approximately £23,000 - £28,000 per year.

Qualifications and Skills
  • An understanding of child development, therapeutic parenting, and the specific needs of children.
  • The ability to adhere to organisational policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
  • Possession of diverse skills and the capability to empathise with children who have complex needs.
  • Willingness to work on a shift rota system.
