About the Role

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to lead our DCA Office in Powys. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, developing and implementing person-centered support plans, and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the service, including supervising staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans, taking into account the needs and goals of the individuals we support.
  • Conduct care needs assessments, recruit and induct new staff, and complete supervisions and appraisals.
  • Manage the service's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individuals we support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a CIW registered manager or in a care management role.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake CIW registration and a Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and challenging behaviors.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
