About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to join our team at Voyage Care Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our DCA Office in Powys and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing day-to-day operations, developing and implementing person-centered support plans, conducting care needs assessments, and recruiting and inducting new colleagues. You will also be responsible for completing supervisions and appraisals, medication competencies, and medication audits, as well as attending multi-disciplinary meetings and completing quarterly audits and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the service(s)
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans
  • Conduct care needs assessments
  • Recruit and induct new colleagues
  • Complete supervisions and appraisals
  • Complete medication competencies and medication audits
  • Attend multi-disciplinary meetings
  • Complete quarterly audits and reports
  • Effectively manage the service's P&L
  • Ensure regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience as a CIW registered manager or in a care management role
  • Willingness and ability to undertake CIW registration
  • Level 5 in Health & Social Care
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and challenging behaviors
