Key Responsibilities- Diligently deliver targeted interventions to small groups of students
- Regularly review student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Cultivate strong relationships with parents through open communication
- Ensure accurate records of student progress are maintained
- Develop and implement effective marking and feedback strategies
- Promote collaboration between teachers and students to drive academic success
- Foster a culture of mutual respect and trust within the classroom
- Support students in achieving their learning objectives
- Work closely with teachers to develop engaging lesson plans and resources
- Contribute to the overall success of the academy by running homework clubs and assisting peers as needed
- Adhere to examination protocols and perform roles such as reader or scribe when required
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Required Skills and Qualifications- A Level or undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in English, Maths, or Science
- Proven experience working with children of relevant age
- Ability to work effectively with students who require additional support
- Successful delivery of literacy and reading/writing recovery programmes
