Job Title: Behaviour Mentor for SEN Schools
This role is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to gain valuable experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Autism. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will provide support and guidance to pupils who require additional help in the classroom.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in working with children with SEN and Autism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different situations. A calm and compassionate nature is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting children with a range of SEN & SEMH to keep them engaged in the classroom
- Encouraging the development of students' social skills
- Working within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate individual needs
- Supporting and complying with the school's safeguarding procedures
- A 2:1 or First-class degree from a reputable University
- Genuine interest in working with SEN and Autism
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to adapt
- Experience in a previous role or personal experience in SEN is desirable
