Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at East Dunbartonshire Council. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and leadership to support the achievement of our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improve financial performance
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and other stakeholders
- Manage and oversee the financial planning and budgeting process
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
- Lead and manage a team of financial professionals
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer or in a similar leadership role
- Strong financial management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
