About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Finance and Resources Officer to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and direction to our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the achievement of our organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide financial guidance and advice to our senior leadership team and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Manage and lead a team of financial professionals to ensure the effective delivery of financial services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Requirements
- CCAB qualified senior finance professional with significant experience in financial management and leadership.
- Proven track record of financial management within a large, complex, service-led organization.
- Strong strategic leadership skills with the drive and resilience to inspire and motivate to achieve the best from integration.
- Established and proven negotiating skills with the ability to operate and influence in a politically sensitive environment.
