About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our First Response Service team in Exeter. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing urgent access to mental health services for people of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct brief clinical risk and mental health assessments to identify the correct care pathway and ensure its implementation.
  • Improve the quality of mental health care for individuals and carers.
  • Identify and manage risk to prevent hospital admissions and reduce the number of incidents and complaints.
  • Measure improvements in health outcomes and determine service needs.
  • Provide evidence-based clinical interventions and make autonomous clinical decisions.
  • Assess, plan, and implement brief individual packages of care and treatment.
