About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Liaison Psychiatry service based in Exeter. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care to individuals in the general hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized recovery plans.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist mental health interventions and support.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff and students.
  • Engage with teaching and training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Extensive post-registration experience in mental health care, ideally in both inpatient and community settings.
  • Experience of leading on completion of biopsychosocial assessments and developing individualized recovery plans.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other professionals.
  • Computer literacy and ability to produce reports.
