About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our crisis services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care to children and young individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert assessment and evidence-based treatment for children and young individuals with complex mental health issues and their families.
  • Collaborate with various agencies to provide integrated healthcare to children at Children and Family Health Devon.
  • Contribute to the team's multidisciplinary approach, offering professional expertise, skills, and knowledge to team collaboration.
  • Participate in team and service development, including participation in audits, evaluations, and reviews.
Requirements
  • A professional mental health qualification (RMN, Social Work Degree, BSc/Diploma in OT, SROT, or equivalent) Active registration with the appropriate professional body (NMC, HCPC)
  • Extensive experience in managing complex caseloads and working with children/young individuals with diverse mental health challenges.
  • Background in a community CAMHS mental health environment.
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary and multi-agency setting.
