About the Role:

As a Lettings/Allocations Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting tenants who need to relocate, ensuring they experience a smooth and positive transition. Working across Worcestershire, you will assist tenants in identifying suitable accommodation, coordinate moves, and provide advice on housing options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the relocation process for tenants, from initial consultation to move-in.
  • Identify suitable properties and liaise with tenants regarding their preferences and needs.
  • Provide support to tenants throughout the move, ensuring they have access to services and resources.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Housing Management, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with housing policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of relocations, tenant communications, and property details.
  • Provide advice on tenancy agreements and housing rights.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a housing or relocations role, preferably within a housing association.
  • Knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy rights, and welfare services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple caseloads.
  • Proficient in IT systems and databases related to housing management.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel across Worcestershire as required.
