This includes defining the risk appetite framework, RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment), and creating scenarios for ICAAP (Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process) and recovery planning. This role offers an opportunity to shape best practices in risk management while contributing to the organization's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and enhance Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Operational Risk Management (ORM) policies and frameworks to ensure effective risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Establish mechanisms for recording risk assessments, registers, and incidents, ensuring seamless tracking and analysis.
  • Lead the quantification of risk scenarios impacting capital and potential losses for ICAAP and recovery plans, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure the escalation of critical risk issues, operational incidents, appetite breaches, and emerging risks to senior leadership and board committees, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Partner with various departments to facilitate comprehensive business risk self-assessments and specific operational risk assessment initiatives, promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
  • Analyse key risk indicators to identify trends and inform strategic decisions within Risk Management, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Monitor compliance with risk frameworks, developing tools and communicating requirements to ensure alignment with policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • FinTech experience, leveraging industry expertise to drive innovative solutions and best practices.
  • ICAAP experience, applying deep knowledge of ICAAP principles to inform risk management strategies and decision-making.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
