Job Title: Accounts Administrator

Location: Burradon, Near Newcastle-Upon-Tyne

Salary: Competitive

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm

Purpose of the role: Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for processing invoices and providing support to the Logistics team, as well as assisting the Financial Controller with weekly/monthly tasks.

Duties:

  • Review staff expenses
  • Assist the Sales Ledger with orders and raise sales invoices
  • Purchase ledger tasks, including invoice processing and supplier statement reconciliations
  • Stock reconciliations and assist with daily costings
  • Undertake administrative duties relating to payroll
  • Provide cover in respect of shipping and export documentation
  • Administrative support to the Livestock department

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within an office environment
  • Desire to expand knowledge within the Finance sector
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook
