Accounts Administrator

Job Title: Accounts Administrator
Location: Burradon, Near Newcastle-Upon-Tyne
Salary: Competitive
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
Purpose of the role: Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for processing invoices and providing support to the Logistics team, as well as assisting the Financial Controller with weekly/monthly tasks.
Duties:
- Review staff expenses
- Assist the Sales Ledger with orders and raise sales invoices
- Purchase ledger tasks, including invoice processing and supplier statement reconciliations
- Stock reconciliations and assist with daily costings
- Undertake administrative duties relating to payroll
- Provide cover in respect of shipping and export documentation
- Administrative support to the Livestock department
Requirements:
- Experience of working within an office environment
- Desire to expand knowledge within the Finance sector
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook
