Job Title: Sales Ledger Clerk

At Law Business Research, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Ledger Clerk to join our team. As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the sales invoice process. This will involve data entry, administration of financial information, and checking for variances and discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of clients within accounting and CRM packages
  • Process invoice amendments, reissues, and cancellations as necessary
  • Update revenue products in the system
  • Provide assistance to sales and marketing teams to ensure contracts and sales orders are entered correctly
  • Maintain good relationships with internal teams and clients
  • Assist in keeping Line Managers updated on debtor and unbilled issues
  • Provide general support and administration to the wider team

Additional Skills and Knowledge:

  • Highly numerate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough, detailed, and methodical approach
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of Excel
