Sales Ledger Administrator Role

At CV-Library, we have an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join our team as a Sales Ledger Clerk in Operations and Finance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Operations and Finance and be looking for their first role. As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Credit Control/Cash Collection: You will telephone/contact customers on a regular basis to follow up due monies and build relationships.
  • Cash Allocation/Sales Ledger Management: You will ensure all payments and transactions are accurately allocated to the correct accounts.
  • Ledgers/Accounts: You will manage your own workload while ensuring the reduction of aged debt.
  • Dunning: You will send overdue/pre-legal letters/actions and correspondence to customers.
  • Escalation: You will identify potential risk/opportunities in accounts and escalate to Senior/Team Leader where necessary.
  • You will be willing to become multi-skilled.
  • You will have numerical accuracy and reconciliation.
  • You will have the ability to use Excel and learn IT systems.
  • You will have practical knowledge of working with and prioritising debt and sales ledger.

We are looking for a candidate who is able to work independently, has excellent communication skills, and is able to learn and adapt quickly.
