**Job Title:** Activity and Wellbeing Assistant

**Job Summary:**

Avery Healthcare is seeking an Activity and Wellbeing Assistant to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering engaging activities that promote residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude towards older people, effective communication skills, and experience working in a residential nursing setting. They will be responsible for maintaining a safe living environment, reporting any changes in residents' conditions, and establishing links with the local community.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator with activity planning and execution
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents
  • Reporting changes in residents' physical or emotional condition
  • Establishing links with the local community to promote intergenerational activity

**Requirements:**

  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Understanding of the importance of interaction in residents' well-being
  • Positive attitude towards older people
  • Experience working in a residential nursing setting

**Salary:** £27,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience)
