Care and Activities Coordinator

Avery Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Care and Activities Coordinator. This role plays a vital part in supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a wide range of activities that cater to the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of residents.
The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and a positive attitude towards older people. They should also have previous experience working with older adults in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe living environment and contribute to the positive image of the home.
- Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the relevant staff members.
- Support the ordering and preparation of supplies for upcoming activities.
- Establish links with local community groups to promote intergenerational activity.
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the importance of interaction in maintaining residents' overall well-being, and a commitment to providing stimulating activities and social events.
