Business Development Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in Bedford. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the cleaning sector.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and exceptional negotiation skills. You will be required to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, create effective sales strategies, and prepare tailored proposals to showcase our services and value propositions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Acquisition: Identify and target new business opportunities in the cleaning sector and book appointments.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company growth objectives, expanding the client base and increasing revenue streams.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present tailored proposals to prospective clients, effectively showcasing the company's services and value propositions.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the cleaning, facilities management, or service industry.
  • Demonstrated success in generating leads, managing sales pipelines, and closing deals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • Ability to think strategically and proactively address client needs and challenges.
  • Results-driven with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to travel across the region.
