Conference and Event Sales Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Conference and Event Sales Strategist to join our AccorHotel team.
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving conference and event sales, developing and implementing sales strategies to meet business objectives, and providing exceptional customer service to clients.
Your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with existing clients, and upselling and cross-selling our hotel's services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a flexible sales strategy to reflect the hotel's budget commitment and respond to local market conditions.
- Oversee the Event Planning function and related staff to ensure the planning and delivery of successful hotel events.
- Ensure products and/or services provided by Event Planning meet or exceed guest expectations and build customer loyalty through product and/or service excellence.
- Take a proactive sales approach and adapt sales solutions to meet client needs and expectations.
- Manage the daily operation of Event Planning to achieve or exceed budget expectations. Monitor wages and expenses and make ongoing adjustments as needed to achieve goals.
- Ensure accuracy of Forecast and Pace reports and work to provide excellent critiques for financial expenditure and departmental performance on a monthly basis.
- Carry out local research of potential new local business. Maintain records and ensure appropriate follow-up with your GM, RSM, and the Accor MICE sales team.
- At least 2 years of experience in a hospitality sales role.
- Accor experience preferred but not mandatory.
- A competitive estimated salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
