Job Description

Our successful Medicine department at Triple West Medical requires a dedicated and experienced Rheumatology Consultant to provide a flexible and responsive service. The successful candidate will participate in the out-of-hours On-Call service for general medicine, currently a 1 in 16.

Main Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Providing 5 general rheumatology clinics a week and an injection clinic when necessary or a specialist interest clinic.
  2. Ensuring adequate arrangements for hospital staff involved in the care of your patients to contact you when necessary.
  3. Taking responsibility for professional supervision and management.
  4. Devoting time to teaching, examination, and accreditation duties as required for junior medical staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

This position offers a competitive salary of £**£140,000 - £220,000 per annum**, depending on experience, plus benefits such as a pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
