Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Rolls-Royce Submarines in Thurso, Scotland.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves providing vital administrative support to our operational security and emergency arrangements team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing visitor applications, maintaining accurate security records and databases, and formatting departmental documents.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as experience working in a highly compliant environment. Adaptability and flexibility are essential in this role, as you will be required to respond to changing situations and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process visitor applications and maintain accurate security records and databases.
  • Format and edit departmental documents, including those related to UK Security Vetting portal access.
  • Provide administrative support to our critical onsite team.
  • Contribute to key projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably in a highly compliant environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving situations and priorities.
  • Security Check clearance is mandatory; Rolls-Royce will support the application process if required.
  • Candidates must be a UK national or hold a MoD-approved dual nationality.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
