Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled midwife to join our team as a Midwifery Leadership and Development Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our maternity services practice development strategy.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure that we provide high-quality care to our patients.

About the Team

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country. We provide a wide range of general and specialist clinical services and are a base for medical education, training, and research.

We have four hospitals: the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, and Horton General Hospital.

Requirements
  • Significant experience in midwifery practice
  • Leadership experience within health/social care settings
  • Ability to develop and implement policy
  • Evidence of teaching in clinical and university settings
Estimated Salary

£70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience
