**Job Summary:** Dedicated Teacher's Assistant Wanted for Autistic Student

We are currently seeking a caring and experienced Teacher's Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a Year 4 pupil with severe autistic tendencies. The successful candidate will assist the student to participate fully in classroom activities and achieve their academic and personal goals.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

  • Offer individualized support to the Year 4 pupil, helping them to access curriculum content and develop essential life skills.
  • Communicate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and carers to share information and coordinate support.
  • Contribute to regular reviews of the pupil's progress, highlighting areas of strength and challenge.

**Ideal Candidate Requirements:**

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Teacher's Assistant, preferably in a SEN setting.
  • Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and the strategies required to support students with these needs.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

**Salary:** £27-32 per hour
