Autistic Education Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate educator to join our team at ESPA College in South Hill. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting autistic young people aged 16-25, promoting their qualifications from Pre-Entry Level to Level 2.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with autistic learners who require additional support in education, holding a PGCE/Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification. They should possess excellent communication skills, being able to develop and deliver personalized learning programs tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and sensory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with learning support assistants to ensure seamless delivery of sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress toward achieving their Education, Health, and Care plans targets.
- Contribute to student reviews and work effectively with external professionals.
