SEN Teacher Job

We are seeking an experienced SEN teacher to join our team at a leading OfSTED "Good" school in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a mixed KS3 class of 8 pupils, all of whom have a diagnosis of autism.

The school incorporates a range of strategies in the delivery of its curriculum, including TEACCH, Total communication, and sensory integration approaches. Familiarity with these approaches would be advantageous, but SEN teacher training is available.

The ideal candidate will have qualified teacher status, successful teaching experience, and knowledge of the National Curriculum. They will also have experience working with autistic children and be able to adapt their teaching to meet the needs of individual pupils.

We are looking for an SEN teacher who is passionate about supporting autistic pupils to access education and is able to build effective, safe, and trusting relationships with pupils. The successful candidate will be a team player who is able to work collaboratively with colleagues to provide the best possible education for our pupils.
