Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Strategist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the People Team, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day HR operations, ensuring an efficient and personable service is maintained.

This role reports to the Head of People, manages a People Team Coordinator, and supports a People and Recruitment Advisor. The position offers hybrid working, allowing for a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Head of People in implementing the People Team strategy and contributing to broader People Team projects.
  2. Collaborate with managers to provide guidance on people-related matters, including absence, performance, and conduct, while keeping the Head of People informed and escalating issues as needed.
  3. Partner with line managers to identify training needs and requirements, enhancing employee development and growth.
  4. Oversee and manage maternity processes, conducting risk assessments and ensuring efficient administration, supporting the company's culture.
  5. Ensure payroll files are up-to-date, accurate, and delivered to deadline each month, contributing to the wider People Team.
  6. Assist in promoting Rewards and Benefits schemes or programmes, enhancing employee well-being and satisfaction.
  7. Enhance the visibility and impact of the People Team in a hybrid world, optimising workflows.
  8. Provide support to the People and Recruitment Advisor and advise managers through the recruitment process, ensuring alignment of values and culture.

For this role, we require a CIPD level 5 qualification and excellent People Team/HR generalist experience at Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager level. Salary range: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
