Pastoral and Wellbeing Officer

Tempest Resourcing Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pastoral Wellbeing Officer to support secondary aged pupils in a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with a team of tutors to oversee student wellbeing and readiness for learning.
  2. Maintain a visible presence around the school to promote high standards of behaviour.
  3. Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, governors, and the local community as necessary.
  4. Take an active role in student welfare and support initiatives.
Requirements:
  1. Oversee the behaviour, learning, and progress of students in a year group.
  2. Implement the school's behaviour management policy and procedures consistently and effectively.
  3. Monitor students' emotional and mental wellbeing and provide necessary interventions.
  4. Support a team of tutors in developing and enhancing their practice to provide high-quality pastoral care.
