As a Taxation and Benefits Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that council tax and business rates are collected and managed effectively. This involves working closely with our team to identify and recover debts, as well as providing support to customers and third parties.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality customer service and working collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of debtors and their corresponding debts.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for debt recovery, including negotiations and legal action.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

Estimated Salary: £32,500 - £42,000 per annum
