Job Description: Wildlife Welfare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Wildlife Welfare Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to work with animals, develop new skills, and make a difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Animal Care: Prepare and provide food, medication, and water for all animals in the centre as directed by the rehoming team.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean, disinfect, and maintain the animal accommodation, including the kitchen area, as required.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the physical condition and patterns of behavior of individual animals and report any concerns to staff immediately.
  • Training and Development: Undertake online Health and Safety courses and familiarize yourself with and comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum
