**Job Title: Animal Care Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Animal Care Assistant. In this rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the health and well-being of animals in our care.

**Key Tasks:

  • Preparing and providing food, water, and medication for all animals in the centre, following guidelines from the rehoming team.
  • Maintaining clean and hygienic animal accommodation, including kitchen areas.
  • Reporting any animal welfare concerns to staff immediately, prioritizing animal health and well-being.
  • Monitoring animal behavior and physical condition, reporting any changes or concerns to staff promptly.

**Requirements:

  • Experience caring for animals, with a strong passion for animal welfare.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while also being part of a close-knit team.
  • Able to learn and adapt quickly, with a patient and understanding nature.
  • Must be aged 18 or over, with a strong commitment to animal welfare.

**Working Environment:

You will work within a dynamic and supportive team, with opportunities for training and professional development. Our centres are based in various locations across England and Wales, where you will be based and work alongside experienced staff and volunteers.

**Estimated Salary:** £24,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.
