Join Our Mission: At the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, we are committed to protecting and promoting animal welfare in England and Wales. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Animal Care Assistant.

About the Role: As an Animal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to animals in need, including preparing and providing food, water, and medication, maintaining clean living environments, and monitoring animal behavior and physical condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing Essential Care and Support: Provide essential care and support to animals in need, including preparing and providing food, water, and medication.
  • Maintaining Clean Living Environments: Maintain clean and safe living environments for animals, including cleaning and disinfecting animal accommodation areas.
  • Monitoring Animal Behavior and Physical Condition: Monitor animal behavior and physical condition, reporting any concerns immediately to the rehoming team.

What We Offer: As an Animal Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on animal welfare, gain relevant experience and skills, and participate in comprehensive induction and training programs. Estimated salary: £23,000 - £27,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
