Welcome to Our Team: The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a leading animal welfare organization in England and Wales. We are currently seeking a skilled Animal Care Assistant to join our team.
About the Role: As an Animal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of animals in our care. Your responsibilities will include preparing and providing food, water, and medication to animals, maintaining clean and safe living environments, and monitoring animal behavior and physical condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and Providing Food, Water, and Medication: Work closely with the rehoming team to prepare and provide food, water, and medication to animals as directed.
- Maintaining Clean Living Environments: Clean and maintain animal accommodation areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for animals.
- Monitoring Animal Behavior and Physical Condition: Monitor animal behavior and physical condition, reporting any concerns immediately to the rehoming team.
- Collaborating with the Team: Work effectively with the team to achieve our animal welfare goals.
