Job Description

The Onboarding Manager will play a crucial role in providing efficient and effective resourcing support across the service. This includes internal and external resourcing, as well as people operations. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various functions to meet the demands of the service.

This role requires the delivery of a professional onboarding service that ensures a high-quality candidate/manager journey during the recruitment lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Strategic Resourcing to deliver a tailored onboarding service to hiring managers;
  • Providing a positive candidate experience by ensuring regular touchpoints and open communication throughout the onboarding process;
  • Flagging concerns from onboarding checks and agreeing additional actions where necessary;
  • Proactively addressing workplace adjustments and communicating needs to the business area;
  • Quality assuring Planner cards submitted by Recruitment Managers;
  • Liaising with managers to confirm start dates and arranging start date calls when all onboarding checks and SC are in place;
  • Providing management oversight of the onboarding process and maintaining data for weekly field starters;
  • Variety of administrative tasks to maintain service delivery.

  • Able to work under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
