Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Childcare Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the residential childcare sector and be passionate about empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will work with a caseload of 40 learners, conducting comprehensive assessments, providing tailored support and guidance to ensure learner success. They will also develop crucial skills in learners, focusing on Mathematics and English proficiency.

The role involves planning and implementing teaching and learning activities with a robust assessment process. The trainer will regularly review progress, adapting coaching strategies to meet learner needs.

Essential qualifications include Occupational competence in a residential childcare setting and Qualification in Residential Childcare up to Level 5. A UK driver's license with access to own vehicle is also required.

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 per annum, including a £4,000 car allowance.
