Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Empower learners by sharing knowledge of the residential childcare sector throughout their apprenticeship journey.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, providing tailored support and guidance to ensure learner success.
  • Develop crucial skills in learners, focusing on Mathematics and English proficiency.
  • Nurture a caseload of 40 learners, ensuring they achieve success at their End-Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Plan and implement teaching and learning activities with a robust assessment process.
  • Regularly review progress, adapting coaching strategies to meet learner needs.
  • Provide valuable information, advice, and guidance to support holistic development.
  • Efficiently manage E-Portfolios for all learners.

Salary and Benefits
This role comes with a competitive salary of £26,000 per annum, along with a £4,000 car allowance. As a key member of our team, you will have access to continuous professional development (CPD) training opportunities. We also offer flexible hybrid working, primarily from home, with monthly travel to visit learners in your area.

Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should hold a qualification in Residential Childcare up to Level 5. A teaching qualification such as PTLLS, AET, Cert Ed, or equivalent would be highly desirable. Additionally, you should have occupational competence in a residential childcare setting and be willing to undertake relevant training or qualifications to stay at the forefront of the field.
