About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children and young people. As a Childcare Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services, including providing emotional support, promoting independence, and supporting the young people in achieving their goals. You will also contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the welfare and well-being of the young people in our care.

We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus up to £6720 in sleep-in payments (average of 6-8 sleep-ins per month at £70 per sleep-in). Additional benefits include regular supervisions, company pension, access to our Exchange Employee Discount Scheme, and comprehensive training programs.

Responsibilities:

  • To deliver high-quality care services, including providing emotional support, promoting independence, and supporting the young people in achieving their goals.
  • To contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the welfare and well-being of the young people in our care.
  • To work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure the smooth running of the home and the delivery of high-quality care services.
  • To participate in ongoing professional development, including attending training sessions, workshops, and conferences to stay up-to-date with best practices in childcare and youth work.
