UK Hotel Country Manager or Regional General Manager

Renard International Hospitality Search Consultants seeks a highly skilled Country Manager or Regional General Manager to oversee 10+ hotels in the UK and Scotland.
This role will be based in Glasgow, Scotland and will report to the CEO of the Group who is based in Europe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of all the hotels' operations and sales & marketing. They must be a strong leader, able to define, implement and maintain the highest standards of guest service.
A graduate with a degree in hospitality, the candidate will be well presented and be able to demonstrate a solid career path, proven success and relevant experience in one of the top International luxury groups.
Mandatory requirements for this role include:
- Candidate must presently be located in the UK and have legal employment rights for the UK and Scotland.
- Strong experience in Operations, Sales & Marketing and Finance.
- Down to earth person to deal with all property General Managers.
- A good trainer.
- Must be willing to be based in Glasgow, Scotland.
- Minimum of 5 years as General Manager of a full service limited service hotel.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and establish business policies, playing a lead role in determining strategic goals and objectives for the group's properties. Proven track record in making sound business decisions, having solid leadership skills, as well as experience in creating and implementing processes that result in quality business performance are important requirements for this post.
