About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Debt Recovery Specialist to join our dynamic Finance team at ZIGUP. As a Collections and Recoveries Professional, you will play a crucial role in managing and collecting outstanding debts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently manage a caseload of claims, ensuring the timely and accurate collection of damages, costs, and disbursements.
  • Conduct thorough file reviews to allocate funds appropriately to clients, suppliers, and firm costs, achieve business-set KPIs, and contribute to team targets for cash collection and settlements.
  • Maintain compliance with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules, GDPR/DPA regulations, and internal policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, and suppliers, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the Solicitors' Accounts Rules and GDPR/DPA.
  • Experience in customer service, with a preference for backgrounds in personal injury claims or similar environments.
  • Proactive team player with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent attention to detail.
  • High standards of client confidentiality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Problem-solving abilities and sound judgment, knowing when to seek additional guidance.
  • A Law Degree or LPC is desirable.
