Job Title: Debt Recovery Support Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our debt recovery team as a support assistant. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the smooth running of the team and its future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening new client and matter files, including data input.
- Preparing Letters of Claim for team leader approval.
- Assisting with the preparation of standardized documents.
- Liaising with the courts to obtain information and copy documentation.
- Scanning and electronically filing all incoming and outgoing post.
- Assisting with the system production of High Court Writ of Control Applications.
- Supporting the Head of Debt Recovery with billing procedures and cash received procedures.
- Preparing Hearing Bundles.
- Ordering stationery for the Debt Recovery Team as needed.
- Ensuring accurate time keeping, record keeping, and file maintenance.
- Maintaining the confidentiality and security of all Firm and client documentation and/or information.
- Responding to client enquiries and correspondence with the support of other team members and the team leader.
- Ensuring all client and matter records are made and maintained in line with the Firm's procedures.
- Assisting with administrative tasks for the team.
- Performing other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Keen and enthusiastic to learn.
- Experience in providing administrative support to fee-earning lawyers.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
