Job Title: Finance Coordinator


Location: Central London


Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (FTE)


Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time (30 hours per week)


Responsibilities:


Accounts Receivable / Credit Control:
  • Posting and allocating cash receipts
  • Controlling the ledger by utilising statements and reconciliations
  • Downloading and reconciling self-bill invoices from vendor portals
  • Ensuring credit limits are adhered to and applied in the accounting system
  • Performing monthly bank reconciliations

Sales Ledger:
  • Raising and posting invoices for placements
  • Liaising with consultants regarding contract extensions and resolving client queries

Payroll:
  • Assisting the Payroll Administrator with holiday and sickness cover
  • Conducting weekly payroll checks
  • Running the auto-enrolment pension file and updating the payroll system
  • Processing SSP, SMP, etc.
  • Maintaining holiday pay records
  • Reviewing payroll records to ensure compliance with regulations

Accounts Payable:
  • Posting supplier invoices into the accounting system
  • Arranging payment runs as required

Ad-hoc Duties:
  • Assisting with audits
  • Producing Management Information reports
  • Providing the business with various financial information as required
  • Reporting as necessary

Requirements:

  • Accounting experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Payroll or recruitment industry experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Must have good spoken and written English.
