Finance Manager

A rapidly expanding provider of Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) with a strong presence in the UK market, known for delivering tailored housing solutions for students across various cities.

Role Overview
The Finance Manager position will report directly to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for managing a junior finance team. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the preparation of consolidated management reports
- Collaborating closely with the Jersey-based administrative accounting team
- Preparing both entity-level and consolidated statutory financial statements
- Leading the audit process and liaising with external auditors
- Coordinating with external tax consultants to oversee the preparation of corporate tax returns and tax accounting
- Developing cash flow forecasts
- Enhancing financial processes and controls
- Engaging in ad hoc project work alongside the Head of Finance

Qualifications and Experience
This position is ideal for a Qualified Accountant with prior experience in the Real Estate, Property, or Construction sectors. Familiarity with PBSA or build-to-rent models is a plus but not mandatory. The candidate should thrive in a dynamic and hands-on environment, taking initiative in processes such as audits and statutory reporting. Proficiency in IFRS and IFRS 102 is required.
