Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Finance Assistant to join our client's team. As a Junior Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Allocating cash receipts daily and reporting on daily cash balances
  • Bank account reconciliation for company bank accounts and foreign currency bank account revaluations at month end
  • Accounts payable support, including assistance with the accounts payable function across multiple group companies and providing holiday cover for the whole of the AP function
  • Accounts receivable support, including completing vendor forms and information requests, and AR function reporting and holiday cover
  • Weekly CRM to accounting system uploads and reconciliations
  • Other month end duties as required, including assisting with the Year End Audit and ad hoc projects

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Prior working knowledge of the system SUN (desirable, not essential)
  • High attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills

What We Offer

Our client offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000, plus bonus and additional benefits.
