Job Title: Junior Finance Analyst

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Junior Finance Analyst to join their team. As a Junior Finance Analyst, you will work closely with the finance and HR teams to support process improvement initiatives related to payroll management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of recommendations for simplified tracking of benefits and allowance balances
  • Analyze large sets of data to develop historical and forecasted payment profiles across employee groups
  • Support the audit of and reconciliation of historical payrolls to inform recommendations on improvement initiatives required to address issues/concerns
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop revised cash-flow forecasts, accounting for new payment profiles developed
  • Support additional transformation workstreams through analytics on various data sources
Requirements:
  • A recent graduate with 1-2 years' experience in finance or a related field
  • BSC degree in Account/Finance or Engineering or Mathematics or similar
  • Advanced ability to use Excel and databases
  • Professional attitude and ability to liaise with and influence internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain data security
